How It Works
Turning a drawing or a handwritten note into embroidery takes three steps on your end and a lot of care on ours.
1. Upload the art
Snap a clear photo of the drawing or handwriting with your phone. Straight on, good light, the whole page in frame. Upload it right on the product page, then pick your garment, color, and placement (left chest or center chest).
2. We digitize & stitch
Digitizing means converting the artwork line by line into stitch instructions for our embroidery machine. We do this by hand for each order so the personality survives: the wobbles, the crossed-out bits, the way the tail on the y trails off. Then we stitch it on premium garment-dyed apparel in our Sioux Falls workshop.
If any part of the art won't translate well to thread, we contact you before we stitch. Want to see the design before it runs? Ask in the order notes and we'll send a preview.
3. Wear the memory
Your keepsake ships in [X] business days. It's real embroidery, so it's machine washable and made to outlast the fridge door by decades. Wash inside out, cold, and skip the iron.
Good to know
- What art works: crayon, marker, pencil, pen, paint. Handwriting from cards, notes, recipes, or signatures.
- Sizing the design: left chest is up to 4" x 4", center chest up to 10" x 10".
- Thread colors: we match the original by default, or tell us your preference in the order notes.
- Group and company orders: logos, teams, events, and bulk keepsakes. Tell us about your project and we'll quote it within a day.
